We did it!
In an historic move, the House passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act by a vote of 220 to 215. If enacted, this bill will provide America's families with peace of mind. It does so by ensuring that affordable, high-quality health coverage and care will not be taken away from us -- even when we get sick, have a pre-existing condition, or lose our jobs.
It is important that we thank our Representatives who stood up for health care, and express our disappointment to those who stood against it.
